Went there for one stair handrail, served by Kyle? he showed us all the styles, couldn't be more helpful or pleasant.You'd think we were spending hundreds of pounds there instead of £20ish. Carried it to the car for us as well, what a star. As Arnie says ( I'll be back! )

Great service! I called up Bates with clueless concept of building decking in my garden, I gave a chap called Gavin measurements and within 10 mins he gave me a price and organised exactly how much timber I needed and low and behold everything gets delivered I've built my decking with a little over what I needed. Perfect service and great quality product! If I could give 6 Stars I would!!

You can't go wrong with Bates Timber, Best quality products, staff very professional and friendly and can't do enough to help. We've used them for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Great new premises as well.

I have found these guys about 10 years ago for some big projects I was working on at home and at that time the customer service was great and continued to use them for other projects. I had not used them for about 3 years (no projects to speak of) and all I can say is it still fantastic service and Elliot was a top man sorting out my order - I would recommend them 100% of the time, All of the time.
